Celebrate the New Year of Trees with New Friends and JNF

Jewish National Fund (JNF) invites you to the 2016 JNFuture Colorado Wine & Trees event in celebration of Tu B’Shvat. Tu B’Shvat, the New Year of Trees, is a Jewish festival of renewal, a celebration of nature, and a holiday of the environment. Join us on Wednesday, January 27 at 6:00 pm at Savoy at Curtis Park (2700 Arapahoe Street) for gourmet food and drinks, and to learn about how JNF contributes to mitigating the world’s water crisis with technology and processes developed in Israel.

“Tu B’Shvat is JNF’s holiday and we are so excited to share it with this wonderful group of JNFutures,” said Aaron Taylor, Event Chair. “We are looking forward to seeing new faces and old friends. There is so much to learn and experience about JNF’s work in Israel, and I invite you to bring your friends to spend the evening with us and help grow our JNFuture family!”

JNFuture is a global community of young professionals and supporters of Jewish National Fund, ages 22–40, who share a commitment and passion for Israel. JNFuture gives members a unique voice in building a prosperous future for the land of Israel and its people. All members have access to a vast network of like-minded peers, a variety of events, exclusive speaker series, VIP receptions with senior Israeli officials, and specialized trips to Israel.

JNF LogoJNF-KKL Chief Israel Emissary Talia Tzour Avner will be the guest speaker. Tzour Avner has been with JNF-KKL for the last 24 years, and has played a major role in implementing JNF’s vision for the land and people of Israel. Born and raised in Jerusalem, she spent her army years as a member of the Nachal Brigade and, during the course of her service, helped found a new community in the Galilee, one that still stands today. She is a member of JNF’s Executive Management and, among other responsibilities, oversees the National Water and Arava Task Forces.

Please register for this annual Tu B’Shvat celebration by January 22 by visiting jnf.org/wineandtrees, or for more information contact JNF Senior Campaign Executive for Mountain States Matthew Leebove at 303.573.7095 x976.
