Sofer Kevin Hale will be visiting Bonai Shalom April 13th-14th!
Wednesday, April 13th, evening – Rabbi Hale will engage with Religious School students and teach about his passion for text.
Thursday, April 14th, morning – Rabbi Hale will join us for Thursday morning minyan at 7:00 am and then he will be available to speak about scribal arts and answer questions. He will also bring some of his works in progress to show.
Rabbi Hale is a trained Sofer STaM, torah scribe. His work focuses on evaluating and restoring sifrei torah, writing, and teaching about our sacred scribal traditions. He is an engaging teacher and speaker; he loves to bring his passion about Torah and the sacred scribal traditions to congregations, havurot and schools and ignite others’ interest with his enthusiasm, knowledge and hands-on style. Rabbi Hale is equally skilled at engaging young children, teens and adults.
More than 500 volunteers are registered for the 26th annual JEWISHcolorado Christmas Mitzvah Project, designed to support community organizations and agencies, enabling staff and regular volunteers to spend time with their family and friends for the Christmas holiday.
