Bonai Shalom To Host End of Summer Picnic

Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 4:00 pm

Please join Bonai Shalom for a picnic to celebrate receiving the Hazon Seal of Sustainability and to meet the new JOFEE fellow for the 2016-2017 year! The Hazon Seal of Sustainability certifies that a Jewish organization has committed to meet a set of criteria marking it as a good world citizen with regard to its food and environmental practices, treatment of animals, and impact on climate change.(www.hazon.org/seal) At Bonai Shalom, we’ve worked hard to achieve this designation and we’d love to celebrate it with you!

We’ll enjoy lawn games, schmoozing, food, and drinks by the beautiful creek behind Bonai Shalom. Bonai will provide veggie hot dogs and the fixings, so bring your favorite sides, drinks, and games to share.
