Tamar Bronstein, mother of Rabbi Deborah Ruth Bronstein, passed away early in the morning of February 18. The funeral will take place on Sunday, February 21 at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe, IL 60022 | 847-835-0724. Burial will follow immediately. Rabbi Bronstein will be sitting shiva in Chicago from Sunday through Wednesday. She will be returning to Boulder and there will be a shiva minyan on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 pm at Congregation Har HaShem.
Tamar is survived by her husband, Rabbi Herbert Bronstein, and her children Daniel, Miriam and Deborah. Rabbi Bronstein has requested that acts of tzedakah in her mother’s memory be designated to Congregation Har HaShem.
