April 15, 2016—Denver, CO—700 guests from the Denver metro area will attend Jewish National Fund’s (JNF) Annual Breakfast on Tuesday, May 17 at 7:30 a.m. at BMH-BJ Congregation (560 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80224).
Rabbi Leor Sinai, co-executive director of Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI-JNF), will be the keynote speaker at this year’s highly anticipated event. AMHSI-JNF is an accredited, college preparatory semester abroad program that offers a transformative educational experience to high school students studying in Israel. AMHSI-JNF’s general and Israel studies programs produce lifelong connections to the land and people of Israel, and help to create Jewish continuity for generations. Amongst its thousands of alumni are Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, singer Matisyahu, and film director and producer Brett Ratner. Our own recent Denver alumni, Alex Stern and Eden Gross, will shed light on their AMHSI experiences.
This year’s event is generously sponsored by Carmel Partners, Bob and Florence Werner, HW Home Furniture, and LawBank.
Event chairs Eric Elkins, Debra Weinstein, and Dr. Melinda Wolf are proud to be a part of JNF, and said in a joint statement:
“The innovations that JNF underwrites have direct applications to problems that countries are facing around the world. JNF has a vision and a roadmap to achieve it. We look forward to another inspiring event where we can see old friends and welcome new members to the JNF family.”
For many decades, JNF has been “greening” the desert, planting millions of trees, building thousands of inclusive parks across Israel, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the importance of Israel and Zionism.
The breakfast is complimentary and Jewish dietary laws are observed. Registration for the breakfast is required via the JNF website or by contacting Stacey Lewis at slewis@jnf.org or 303.573.7095 x964.
