“Treasure Under the Bridge” Movie Showing

In “Treasure Under the Bridge: Pilgrimage to the Hasidic Masters of Ukraine,” Rabbi Marc Soloway invites us on his personal journey to modern day Ukraine to visit the graves of the Hasidic Masters, as he tries to establish a connection with the names that have so long occupied a place in his imagination.

Along the way, he introduces to the colorful characters he meets– including his Ukrainian driver, Yuri, and Hasidic popstar, Lipa Shemeltzer– and we get to see for ourselves, the burial places of the Ba’al Shem Tov, the Maggid of Mezritch, Rebbe Nahman of Bratzlav, and Reb Levi Yitzhak of Berditchev, as Rabbi Marc Soloway tells us stories and anecdotes of each. Directed by Chuck Davis and Netanel Miles-Yepez. Hosted and narrated by Rabbi Marc Soloway.

This film features Reb Zalman Schachter Shalomi z”l and is dedicated to his memory, may it continue to be a blessing. This showing will be held at the Boulder County Public Library Theater on April 28th, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
