Learning and Engagement: A Different Kind of Happy Hour

Learning is a wonderful thing to do in community. And when a learning moment is at hand we really need to think about what the opportunity is. Yehudis Fishman, our treasured Torah teacher, will be teaching a fun and engaging class — that she created — called Mystical Meaning of the Mitzvot. Now on the surface this looks like another course, for nine weeks, Monday nights, beginning on October 12th. But look again!

Jewish life prides itself on learning and community. Together we listen, question, discuss, laugh and celebrate. It’s our tradition! This class is an opportunity to be engaged, be alive and be in community. Yehudis writes about her class: “Each week will focus on the mitzvot from a different category including daily living, life-cycle events, interpersonal behaviour and more.” Nu? What more do you need to know?

Yehudis helps us access a deeper understanding of the mitzvot. The conversations are intelligent, enriching and inspiring. Please join us for this rewarding, one of a kind program. Start off the new year with spirited study in community. Register at http://www.caje-co.org/product/mystical-meanings-of-the-mitzvot/.
