IST 2015 Departs for Poland, Israel with 73 Teens

Colorado Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE) launched this year’s Israel Study Tour (IST) to Poland and Israel on Sunday with 73 kids, at least 9 of whom were from the Boulder area.

IST by the Numbers:

  • Number of teens: 73
  • Number of US Staff: 5
  • Number of years IST has run trips: 43
  • Total number of kids taken to Israel since 1972: almost 2,500
  • Total number of IST trips Director Josh Samet has been on: 6 (last 5 as staff, and one as teen in 1990)
  • Number of days this trip: 36
  • Number of weeks in Poland: 1
  • Number of weeks in Israel: 4
