Help Shape Boulder’s Community Plan

Boulder is preparing to start the official 2015 Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan (BVCP) update this summer. Before we begin, we are looking for feedback as we develop the BVCP’s Community Engagement Plan. To do this, the city has set up two webinars and a public meeting to brainstorm with the community about the best ways to engage throughout the update.
These events will include:
● A basic overview of the BVCP update process, including timelines and phasing;
● Initial ideas for the community engagement approach;
● Community forum on ideas, preferences and brainstorming of ways to engage; and
● Questions and answers about the BVCP update process.

Community Engagement Public Meeting and Open House

Tuesday, April 7 | 5 to 6 p.m.
Main Boulder Public Library
1001 Arapahoe Ave.
Boulder Creek Meeting Room

Please join us for a brief presentation at 5 p.m., followed by an open house with public polling.

The two webinars and the public meeting are being offered at different times and in various formats to allow for convenient participation. These three events will each cover the same content, so is not necessary for community members to attend all three.

Please note: These meetings won’t address the technical information or content of the BVCP update. These events are offered specifically to better understand how Boulder community members want to participate in the update process. Once the BVCP update process begins in summer 2015, there will be many opportunities to focus on critical issues, data, choices, and actions for the plan.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
