Boulder Jewish Family Service (JFS) will host its third annual fundraiser, “Reel Hope Boulder” on Sunday, November 8 at 6:00 pm (VIP sponsor reception at 5:30 pm) at the Nalanda Events Center, 6287 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Guests will enjoy a fun, enlightening evening with writer Marc Sotkin, who is recognized for his work on numerous television situation comedies, including Laverne & Shirley and The Golden Girls. Ron Bostwick, a freelance event producer and announcer, will interview Sotkin about his experiences writing for television. Bostwick has interviewed numerous celebrities at the Boulder International Film Festival, as well as featured speakers at the past two Reel Hope Boulder events.
Guests will enjoy a pre-program reception with food and drinks. Sponsorships are available now and include a sponsor VIP reception with Marc Sotkin. Tickets are $90 and go on sale September 30. All proceeds benefit Boulder JFS.

Marc Sotkin began his writing career in 1976 and has been a staff writer and producer on more than 350 episodes of various situation comedies for every television network. His credits include “Laverne & Shirley”, “The Golden Girls”, as well as co-writing and producing two Garry Shandling specials for Showtime. He has been honored with multiple Emmy, Golden Globe, and CableACE award nominations and has won a prestigious Writers Guild Award.
His has written two novels, “The Comatose Adventures of Lenny Rose” and “With Time Off For Bad Behavior”.
