Shabbat shalom! If only we could say that, knowing that our brothers and sisters in Israel could truly experience a Shabbat of peace. For a sense of what day to day life is like in central Israel the last few weeks, read our Summer Diary of an Israeli from Shaul Amir.
As for the weekend here in Boulder, ALEPH’s tribute to, and celebration of, the life of Reb Zalman Schacter-Shalomi z”l is this Sunday at the Boulder Theater. Congregation Nevei Kodesh is having an open house and picnic Sunday afternoon and Hadassah is holding a Family Festival at the Boulder JCC.
