Update on New Jewish Section at Green Mountain Cemetery

The Green Mountain Cemetery will be building a new Jewish section containing about 100 plots. The first notice of this new Jewish section was sent out last year. This is the second notice being sent to Boulder’s Jewish community. Approximately 50 plots are still available, and will be allotted on a first come-first serve basis. Some key points regarding the new Jewish section are listed below. Please contact Rachel Amaru (rachelamaru@gmail.com) if you are interested in buying plots. The new Jewish section will hopefully be completed by December of this year.

  • The cost of a plot is $5500 plus an additional 15% charge for perpetual care. Financing will be available for both.
  • This new Jewish section will adhere to Haver (Boulder Rabbinical Council) rules and regulations (see Haver’s website for more detail).
  • The plots are located near the Garden of Love section of the Green Mountain Cemetery.
  • The new Jewish section will be bordered by paths on two sides and hedges/bushes around the rest.
