Entering its 10th season, Keitanat Har HaShem is Congregation Har HaShem’s summer camp for kids entering 1st through 5th grades. Led by experienced educators and wildly fun directors Caroline Saliman and Leah Boonin, days are filled with fun, music and more while offering informal Jewish education to children through a Jewish cultural and social experience.
Six one-week sessions run June 9th to July 11th and end with an all-camp overnight July 12-13th.
Activities include sports and games including a Ga-ga pit, storytelling, music, art, swimming, water play, and fabulous field trips.
Each day begins with prayer and songs, and every week includes time with the clergy, challah baking, and a meaningful mitzvah project. Kids also love that Leah and Caroline are joined by many fabulous Har HaShem teens working (and mostly playing) as madrichim (counselors)!
The great all-camp overnight will be held on a Saturday night, so parents can schedule the time for themselves.
Try one week or attend up to all five weeks. Membership in the synagogue is not required in order to attend, and you can help us spread the word on to friends and family!

In 1966, a small group of committed Jewish families in Boulder had the vision and dedication to create Congregation Har HaShem. Nestled in the majestic foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Har HaShem is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism and is an inclusive congregation celebrating Jewish ideals and traditions while committed to the ongoing work of tikkun olam, repairing the world. Har HaShem is Boulder’s largest Jewish congregation with an active youth program.
