Rabbis to Lead a Conversation About Israel / Palestine

co-il flagPlease join Haver (Boulder Council of Rabbis) Thursday night, May 29th, 2014 as they reflect on the State of Israel conversation in the American Jewish community. Our community is often fractured by recrimination and disagreement about Israel and its future. This panel is meant to be a forum to discuss Israel, the peace process and how we can create a dialogue of respect in which the many voices within our community can be heard.

Rabbis Tirzah Firestone, Marc Soloway, and Josh Rose will be joined by Caryn Aviv, Senior Instructor in Secular Jewish Society and Civilization, and Liora Halperin, Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies, for a challenging and rich night of dialogue and discovery.

The event is being hosted at Congregation Har HaShem (Main Building) – 3950 Baseline Road, and doors open at 7:00 pm. The 90 minute panel will begin promptly at 7:30 pm.  Everybody is welcome! A $5-$10 suggested donation at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Sponsored by Haver.
