Noted Israeli Author to Speak at CU Chabad
Jonathan Rosenblum, a noted Israeli columnist and author, is speaking at the CU Chabad House Monday evening, March 3, at 7:30 pm. Rabbi Wilhelm has graciously agreed to open the talk to members of the public.
Mr. Rosenblum’s topic will be “Anti-Israel as the New Anti-Semitism” and there is no charge for the talk. The Chabad House is located at 909-14th Street and for folks who haven’t been over to see it, this is a great opportunity.
“The Forest of Sadness.” That’s the last stop recorded in the Sinai travel itinerary. What is this strange place? And what pain does it hold, there in the shadows of its trees?
Towards the end of The Book of Numbers, there is a list of 42 places on the Israelite's journey as they hope to enter a new land. It is reminiscent of the wanderings of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers of which there are some 65 million in our world today.
