“Don’t Be Left Out!” This Thursday or Friday Evening

Elaine Hall

43 million people in the U.S. with disabilities — and many of them are not included in our faith community.  Have you noticed?  What does it take to be a welcoming congregation?   And what else can we do that benefits us all?  The Jewish community is so lucky to be hosting Elaine Hall, author of “Now I See The Moon: A Mother, a Son, a Miracle.”  Elaine will speak and will also show film clips from the Emmy award-winning film and talking about her Miracle Project and Inclusion from Within, I win programs for faith-based institutions.  Although hosted by the Jewish community, this is truly applicable to all of us, for all faiths, and open to the community.

THIS THURSDAY: Elaine Hall, nationally and world renown for her role in Autism the Musical and her innovative creations for including people with disabilities in our lives, will be speaking Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at Har HaShem followed by a dessert reception.    Plus, there will also be an intimate & exclusive “VIP Wine & Goat Cheese” reception at 5:30 pm with Elaine (that is close to being filled).  Information and reservations at www.jewishinclusion.org  ($9 in advance per person/$18 max per family; $12 cash only at the door; $40 for the VIP reception which includes hanging out with Elaine and a signed copy of  her book).  There will be an interpreter at this event.
