Clarence “Skip” Ellis, z”l

star-of-davidWith a very sad heart, I want to let all know that the leader of Boulder Israeli folk dancers, Skip Ellis, passed away on May 17th; he was 71 yrs old. He was a loving, vibrant man, a Professor Emeritus at CU, and a brilliant one in computer sciences, having invented icons for our computers. Click here for his Daily Camera obituary.

In honor of him, I will be performing EREV SHEL SHOSHANIM, as a hula, at the Boulder International Festival, on Sunday June 22 at 3:00 pm.  We miss and love you, Skip.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
