Chili in the Sukka Cook Off

d2On Sunday Oct 12 from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm Chabad of NW Metro Denver will be hosting a Chili in the Sukka Cook Off.

The event will include a carnival, inflatables, child friendly foods, craft beer tasting, a live broadcast of the Broncos vs Jets game and lots of delicious chili.

Contestants for the cook-off will prepare their Chili at Chabad on Saturday night before the event to assure kosher standards. No cooking experience is required, just a a great recipe and a desire to cook.

Leah Brackman, co-director of Chabad of NW Metro Denver, will be overseeing the cook-off and is excited to be hosting this event.

I think this is a unique opportunity for people to show off their cooking skills in a fun and kosher environment and enjoy the spirit of the joyous holiday of Sukkot” says Brackman.

Cook Off contestants must register by Monday morning October 6th and include a list of required ingredients. There is a $36 fee for Chili Cook-Off contestants and a $10 per person admission fee. Chabad of NW Metro Denver is located at 4505 W 112th Ave, Westminster.
