Chanukah on Ice at Apex Center in Arvada

Chanukah on Ice On Sunday afternoon, December 21, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, Chabad of NW Metro Denver will offer the ultimate Chanukah celebration – Chanukah on Ice – at the Apex Center in Arvada 13150 W 72nd Ave. Arvada.

The ice rink – open exclusively for Chanukah on Ice participants – will play a special mix of contemporary popular Chanukah and Israeli music to invigorate the skaters with a Chanukah spirit.

The cost of $10 per person includes skates, a shwarma and falafel buffet including latkahs and donuts, Chanukah arts and crafts and a menorah lighting ceremony. Families with children four and under can come for free by visiting www.mazeltot.org

Non-skaters are $7.

Chanukah hero Judah the Macabee will be there to lend a hand to novice skaters both young and old.

Extra: FREE admission to the Apex Center Club House. A paradise of creative and interactive play possibilities for ages 1-10

We want to bring the spirit of the Chanukah holiday alive for everyone – adults and kids alike,” said Rabbi Benjy Brackman, Director of Chabad of NW Metro Denver who is hosting the event, “what better way than to combine a popular winter pastime with the festival of Chanukah.”
