Chanukah Bazaars Opening Soon Near You

Last year at this time, Boulder Jews were getting ready for Thanksgivikah, the once-in-several-lifetimes confluence of Chanukah and Thanksgiving.  This year, thankfully, Chanukah is still a couple of weeks away as we head into our annual Turkey Coma.  Next week, however, synagogue Chanukah Bazaars are opening all over town, complimenting the various mainstream store displays to be found.  And if you are interested in less commercial aspects of Chanukah, check out JTBoulder’s Chanukkah Resource Page, with history, events, themes and recipes.

  • Congregation Bonai Shalom’s Sisterhood has re-constituted their gift shop since the building reconstruction after last year’s flood.  They are holding their Hanukkah Bazaar for three hours only on Wednesday, December 3rd from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at their building at 1527 Cherryvale Rd.
