Adventure Camp Discounts for this Summer

DSCN1874Avid4 Adventure, a Boulder Jewish Festival sponsor, offers a wide variety of summer camp experiences for kids up and down the Front Range.  Avid4 Adventure’s mission is to inspire life-long active outdoor lifestyles and environmental stewardship through experiences that provide personal development and memorable family adventures, while addressing the logistics needs of parents.

Avid4 Adventure has served tens of thousands of kids with their school programs and adventure camps. Staff are outdoor education professionals, experienced working with kids, great role models, age 21+, proficient and tested in their area of instruction, certified in wilderness first aid and CPR, trained in defensive driving and background checked.  Avid4 Adventure is also American Camp Association Accredited and licensed by the State of Colorado. This year’s camps:

Discovery Camp (Denver, Boulder)

Designed just for Pre-K kids, so the little ones can enjoy fun and safety-focused outdoor activities, too. Arts & Crafts, Biking, Exploring, Kayaking, Music & Singing, Rock Climbing and Yoga are taught by our world-class staff in each 1-week session. June 2 – August 15. $395/wk

Explorer Camp (Denver, Golden, Boulder & Highlands Ranch)

For kids in grades K-1st who will have an opportunity to try a wide spectrum of outdoor activities in this 1-week camp. Biking, Canoeing, Climbing, Hiking, Kayaking and Rock Climbing are all a part of a program that focuses on learning and fun, not competition or ability. June 2 – August 22. $395/wk

Multi-Sport Skills Camp (Denver, Golden, Boulder & Highlands Ranch)

Fun, diverse, age appropriate & safety-focused outdoor adventures for 7-12 year olds. In each week-long session kids Rock Climb, Mountain Bike, Hike, Kayak, & Canoe! Day Camps run June – August, check website for each location. $395/wk for grades 2 – 7.

Single-Sport Skills Camp (Denver, Golden, Boulder & Highlands Ranch)

7-12 year olds spend an entire week focused on Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Paddling, or Primitive Skills. Experienced instructors help kids develop their skills in a fun and safety-focused environment. Day Camps run June – August, check website for each location. $395/wk for grades 2 – 7.

Valmont Bike Park Skills Camp (Boulder)

This fun, safety-focused camp offers 7-14 year olds the opportunity to explore this world-renowned bike park in an instruction based program. Kids will develop skills through increasingly challenging activities, exercises, and differing terrain. May 26 – August 15. $395/wk.

Colorado Mountain Camp

At Colorado Mountain Camp, located at Windy Peaks in beautiful Bailey, CO (45 minutes SW of Denver), 7-14 year olds enjoy different outdoor adventures each day at our 1-2 week sleep-away camp, including Zip-Lining, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking, Canoeing, and much more! This classic camp setting promotes strong friendships and team building. June 15 – August 9. $1,025 – $2,050.

Teen Leadership Program

A 2-week Teen Leadership Program for teens 13-17 looking to develop outdoor & leadership skills through a summer of adventure. This program provides a solid orientation of working in the outdoors with youth through personalized development plans, mentoring, certification and training. The Teen Leadership Program is held at Colorado Mountain Camp. June 15 – August 9, $2,050.
