Shabbat Shalom! Continued big thanks to all the flood volunteers — those of you volunteering here in town, as well as all of the people who have come to Boulder and Colorado to help with flood relief. We especially appreciate the folks from Nechama, who came in from Minnesota among other places, and the IsraAID team that came in from Israel. If you see these folks around town, or anyone helping out, please take a moment to stop and thank them.

Also, a mishaberech shout out to Menorah Executive Director Kathryn Bernheimer, who suffered a serious fall last week before the Menorah Jazz Brunch, and has spent the week in Boulder Community Hospital. A speedy recovery to you, Kathryn!

Have a great weekend: stay warm and dry! Here are this week’s stories:

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
