Shabbat shalom! We can hardly believe it’s May – particularly when we look outside! This week we had yet another version of “how much snow can land in Boulder without a snow day.” And yet, by mid-day Thursday, trees were starting to show green buds.
This has been a week of action in the community. The proposal to establish a sister-city relationship between Boulder and Nablus – and the opposition to the proposal – has the potential to divide the community. We encourage healthy and respectful debate on all sides, and remind readers that we do moderate the comments on BJN. We look forward to continued reasoned discussion among our friends and neighbors.
Plan ahead seems to be the theme of many of this week’s articles. Whether you are planning summer activities, or looking out to the next holiday, there are several great programs coming up. Spring into action!
