Welcome back to IST and Birthright participants! The community looks forward to hearing about your experiences.  For travel to a more unusual place be sure to tune in to this week’s Radio Chavura, featuring Katherine Bernheimer of Menorah, talking about the BJCC’s upcoming trip to Cuba.  Talk about timing!

For the month of July, BJN will go to a weekly schedule. For those who are contributors, the weekly deadline will be 5:00 pm on the following Wednesdays:

  • July 24
  • July 31

To the extent there is breaking news or lifecycle events, we will publish as usual, however, for everything else, please plan ahead and pay attention to the Friday “Week in Review” email!

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years.
