Barbara and Tom Trager have graciously agreed to be honored at Menorah’s Jazz Brunch fundraiser on Sunday, October 6 at Rembrandt Yard, 11 am – 2 pm.

Barbara has a long history with Menorah, first as a board member and currently as a program committee member. She is active in many other wonderful ventures in the community, including Bonai Shalom’s Social Action Committee, the Jewish Networking Group, and the Jewish Inclusion Initiative.

Tom is on the Boulder JCC board, and serves on Menorah’s board as the BJCC liaison.

Tom and Barbara have been attending Menorah programs with frequency and enthusiasm for many years.

I could not be more pleased that these two wonderful people and valued community assets accepted our invitation to be our honorees,” Menorah director Kathryn Bernheimer says. “Barbara has been a tremendous support for me personally, as a friend and in my position as cultural arts director at the Boulder JCC. She always expresses appreciation for Menorah’s programming, and it feels wonderful to pay back the compliment.”

Menorah board president Susan Litt concurs that Barbara and Tom are both beloved in the community and deserving of commendation for their contributions.

I am so pleased that Barbara and Tom Trager are being honored by Menorah because they are such wonderful pillars of the Jewish community as seen especially by their support of Menorah,” Litt says. “Giving of their time, energy and ideas has helped strengthen Menorah into the exciting organization that it has become.”

Menorah’s Jazz Brunch will include music performed and organized by David Fulker, a New Orleans buffet, and a silent auction. Want to get involved? Contact Kathryn@boulderjcc.org to help plan this unique event. Stay tuned for more details!
