Leo Habel (Yehuda Leib ben Yosef Meir v’Necha), father of Jeanette Goldman, passed away earlier today, Thursday. The funeral will be on Sunday in New York and Jeanette and family may be returning for some of the shiva back here in Colorado. We will keep you posted.
Blessings,
Rabbi Marc
My condolences to you and your family Jeanette. I am so glad that we met. Your father was a very special man – it was my privilege to know him. My heart is with you during this sad time. I hope that the time you spent with him in his last days will be a comfort to you always. I am here for your mom, should she choose to contact me.
Sincerely yours,
Randi Kaplan
Jeanette will be sitting shiva and visits are invited from 6-7.30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with mincha at 7 pm. Please help with this mitzvah of comforting the mourners and making a minyan each evening at the Goldman’s home.
If you want to bring any food to the shiva house, please make sure it is vegetarian/dairy.
Hamakom y’nachem – comfort to Jeanette and her family in her mourning and peace on the neshamah of Yehuda Leib.
Blessings,
Rabbi Marc
