For the second straight year, Boulder is sending a delegation of athletes and artists to the Maccabi Games and ArtsFest, this year in Orange County, California, August 4-9. Every summer, thousands of Jewish teens from all over the world come together for one amazing week filled with athletic, cultural, and social events, enriching the teens’ Jewish identities and values through Olympic-style athletic competitions, as well as artistic workshops and performances.

Registration is now open through the Boulder JCC (click here), for all Jewish teens age 13-16 (up to age 17 for ArtsFest) as of July 31, 2013. Team Boulder is being led by Delegation Head Michael Rosenzweig, who will be accompanying our athletes and artists for the entire week. New this year, Boulder will be fielding its own girls’ soccer team, under the exceptional coaching of Stephanie Hempen. In addition, the following sports are available: Baseball, Girls and Boys Basketball, In-Line Hockey, Lacrosse, Girls and Boys Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
