Host a Foreign Student This Summer

Hosting a foreign student provides an opportunity for your family to learn about a different culture and opens doors for your own children to travel abroad. It is definitely a learning experience for all of you.

I coordinate both French and Spanish students, ages 14-20, who want to experience an American family lifestyle. They come for short stays, anywhere from 2-4 weeks. They begin arriving in June. Some will take classes, some will volunteer, and most will come for total immersion with a family. All of the students travel independently of each other, so they can be placed anywhere in the Denver environs. They have health insurance, their own spending money, and a desire to learn about American culture.

Families receive a token $50 a week as appreciation for hosting a student.

There are at least 25 kids who need host families. If you can share some of your time with them this summer, contact me at 303-442-3112/ joyweinstein@gmail.com
