Healing the World Through Chocolate

imagesThe story of our food does not begin and end on our plate. Food is produced somewhere, by someone, under some circumstances. More and more people are asking not only, “Is this food good for my body?” but also, “Is this food good for the world?” And, Jewish tradition has long made the connection between food and social justice. We were once slaves in Egypt; our memory of our experience of injustice is intended to be a constant reminder to do justice in the world.

Join us for a tasty, thought-provoking and empowering evening that will help you use chocolate and other eating and purchasing opportunities to heal the world.
