Professor Caryn Aviv, Senior Instructor in secular Jewish society and civilization at CU Boulder’s Program in Jewish Studies will be the speaker at Congregation Bonai Shalom’s First Friday Dinner series on May 3, 2013.

Join Professor Aviv for a delicious vegetarian meal and exciting discussion about Israeli Jews and Palestinians finding new ways of telling each other’s stories, to each other, side by side. This is no easy task, and it challenges learners to expand their awareness, empathy, and ways of understanding and telling history. You’ll likely never look at the Middle East the same way again.

Services at 6:00 pm, and dinner is at 7:00 pm, followed by the lecture. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, May 1 and paid in advance: 303-442-6605 or office@bonaishalom.org. Dinner is $15/adult, $12/child, BYOB Kosher Wine. Congregation Bonai Shalom-1527 Cherryvale Ave
