Film Screening for GLBTQ Young Adults and Allies

VE'HAVTAPlease join Congregation Bonai Shalom and Scholar-In-Residence Rabbi Steve Greenberg for Havdallah and a film screening and discussion for high school and college-age LGBTQ Jews and allies.

V’Ahavta (And Thou Shalt Love), is a film by Chaim Elbaum that depicts the turmoil of a yeshiva student who falls in love with his “havruta” (study partner). We will have a post-screening discussion about the ways faith encounters gayness and the ways gayness can challenge and also deepen faith.

Light snacks will be served. This event is free and open to the community. Saturday, April 6, at 8:30pm at Congregation Bonai Shalom, 1527 Cherryvale Rd. Boulder.
