Dan the Music Man Leads Camp Shabbat Service

HarHashemsmallCalling all kids! Join us for a lively Youth Camp Shabbat Service with popular entertainer, Dan the Music Man, on Friday, October 25th from 6-8 PM in Congregation Har HaShem’s South Building located at 3901 Pinon Drive in Boulder.

A night of music, energetic singing, connecting with fellow campers – a night of Shabbat! Har HaShem’s junior and senior youth groups will help lead a Friday night Shabbat service along with Dan Yolles, professional song leader and guitarist extraordinaire. This special Shabbat will draw on the special energy of camp melodies, contemporary Jewish music, teen musicians, selected readings from outside of our tradition, and more. Rabbi Rose will be on hand to say hello and offer a brief Shabbat reflection, but this is a teen-led service. All age children (who can be left unaccompanied by an adult), young adults, and teens are welcome, so please join us for this first-in-a-series of youth Shabbats. Our theme for the 25th is, “Our Jewish Experiences.”

Please email Youth Director, Hilly Haber, at youth@harhashem.org if you would like to share a reading on an influential Jewish experience you’ve had.

An oneg and song session will follow the service. Pick up is at 8 pm.
