Bridging the Gap: Food and Faith

Congressman Jared Polis (D-CO 2nd District)
Congressman Jared Polis (D-CO 2nd District)

Join us for an evening of inquiry into tools and resources for people to practice their faith in a visible way around food, the environment and social justice issues in this Community Conversation about Food Justice, Sustainability and the Faith Practice.

As part of the evening, we will be discussing the creation of an Interfaith Resource Guide in the new Transition Colorado local food publication. This will be an opportunity to engage your congregation or organization to partner in our endeavor. What resources or wisdom would you like to share with the faith based community? Join us in the discussion on Thursday, February 28 at 6:30 pm, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 3700 Baseline Road, Boulder.

Sponsored by the Interfaith Coalition for Food Sustainability, Hazon, Buddhist Coalition, Transition Colorado and the Office of Congressman Jared Polis. Please RSVP to Christine at christine.berg@mail.house.gov or call 303-484-9596

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!

  1. Could someone please explain to me what "food justice" means? You can post on my Facebook page for Stan Kreis.
