The Mountain States office of the Anti-Defamation League will host its 32nd Annual Governor’s Holocaust Remembrance Program on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
The free community program will feature Colorado Representative Daniel Kagan, who will share the story of Vytautas Rinkevicius, who saved Kagan’s parents and grandmother during the Holocaust. In 1976, Vytautas and his wife Elia were recognized by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations.
The program will include a candle-lighting ceremony memorializing Holocaust victims and honoring Holocaust survivors, and has traditionally featured a special Message to Colorado from the Governor.
The event is chaired by Ali Brodie, Gay Curtiss-Lusher, David Hauptman and Lee Spitz. For more information and to obtain free, required tickets, visit www.adl.org/2013GHRP, email Denver@adl.org or call 303-830-7177.
