Workshop: Developing a Children’s Prayer Service

We are happy to announce a workshop on developing a childrens’ tefillah (prayer) services for kids ages 6-8. This workshop, supported by a Limmud grant from Rose Community Foundation, will be held on Sunday May 6 from 4-6 pm at The Loft in the 29th Street Mall. We will work with Robin Hanssen, a gifted Jewish educator based in Denver. Robin led a workshop last year focused on 0-5 year-olds that led to a new, improved Shabbat Shelanu program at Bonai Shalom.

Dinner will be served at the end of the workshop, and babysitting will be provided. All are welcome to attend, but especially parents of children ages 4-8 (ie those who will be the target audience for the program.) This program is open to anyone in the community who is interested in learning more about how to develop successful childrens’ prayer services.

Please RSVP to David (david.andorsky@gmail.com) by Monday, April 30 if you plan to attend, or if you have any questions.
