Week in Review: October 12th, 2012

Shabbat Shalom!  An eventful but short week, with Shabbat followed by the end of Sukkot — Shemini Atzeret — Simchat Torah.  And at the end of Simchat Torah, shiva began for Froma Fallik, z”l.  The remainder of the schedule is as follows:  Friday 12th at 7:30 am; Saturday 13th at 8:00 pm; Sunday 14th 8:00 am and 6:15 pm; concluding Monday 15th at 7:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the Boulder JCC is holding a unique event fundraising event on Sunday for children 0-17 to have an opportunity to learn about philanthropy, tzedakah, and also to make their own gift to the Cornerstone Capital Campaign.  And Monday night, Matisyahu is coming to the Boulder Theater!

Have a great weekend!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
