Shabbat Shalom! Welcome to our new weekly email readers who signed up at Sunday’s very successful Boulder Jewish Festival! Those of you who signed up for the Daily Edition have already have a few days of local Jewish goodness in your inbox, and of course we welcome you too! Feel free to forward your BJN emails to your friends to show how with it you are and encourage them to sign up too.!
We’re still excited about all the people we met at the Festival (and still going through all the photos we took). We heard that there were out-of-towners who scheduled their Boulder trip to make sure they were here for the Festival… wow!
Another big item percolating in Boulder is the recent move of Boulder Aish Kodesh, the home of Rabbi Gavriel Goldfeder’s Alternadox community from North Boulder to Cherryvale just south of Arapahoe. Not only is Aish Kodesh now next door to Boulder’s Conservative shul, Congregation Bonai Shalom and Rabbi Goldfeder’s good friend, Rabbi Marc Soloway, but they are now across the street from the site of the new Boulder JCC. There is momentum beginning to build around east Boulder that has a lot of Boulder Jews thinking about local geography…
