Shabbat in the Park – Waneka Lake

The Boulder JCC will host its first Shabbat in the Park on Friday, September 7, from 6-8 pm at Waneka Lake in Lafayette for families with children of all ages.

The event will begin with the community gathered together to light candles and say hamotzi (the blessing over the challah bread) together. Grape juice, challah and a picnic dinner from Zamparellis will be provided at a cost of $10 per adult and $6 per child (2 yrs and up). There will be Frisbees, hula hoops, jump ropes and bubbles for the kids to play with while adults get to know their East Boulder County neighbors.
