This month, Boulder Jewish Family Service led High Holy Day services in seven retirement communities in Boulder County—“bringing Judaism to our seniors,” as Ingrid Swords, volunteer resource coordinator calls it.
Services were led by Rabbis Deborah Bronstein, Josh Rose, Marc Soloway , and Morah Yehudis Fishman, and volunteer para-chaplains Joseph Lukasik, David Bernstein and Patrice Spitz. Jerry Sloat blew the shofar at all seven JFS services, as he has been doing for 41 years.
The Beth Ami – Colorado Congregation for Humanistic Judaism community will observe Yom Kippur LIVE under the leadership of our madrikha (leader), Sheila Malcolm. We will gather together at the Martin Park Picnic Shelter, near Table Mesa & Broadway in Boulder.
