JCCN Workshop: Resumes and Cover Letters

“Fine Tuning Your Resume and Effective Cover Letters” is the topic of the second Jewish Community Career Network (JCCN) program on Tuesday, March 13, at the Boulder JCC, 3800 Kalmia Avenue, from 7-8:30 pm.

The program will be led by career consultant Barbara Behrendt, who will be giving personal feedback on your resume and will demonstrate how to develop powerful cover letters that set you apart.

At the first meeting of the newly launched JCCN two weeks ago, Barbara led an interactive work session on “Taking Charge of Your Job Search” for an enthusiastic group of job seekers and career changers. Feedback comments included “great idea,” “awesome instructor,” and “I feel recharged.”
JCCN programs (on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month) are free, confidential, and open to all.

For Tuesday’s program, if possible, bring two copies of your resume, one or two job postings you find interesting, a highlighter, and any cover letters that you have done. The JCCN website is at www.jccnboulder.org.
