On Saturday, December 15th, we will gather for Havdalah, a candle-lighting, games, snacks, and fun, before enjoying a concert by Denver musician, Julie Geller and special guest, David Ross. Havdalah at 6:00 p.m., Candle Lighting at 6:30 (bring your menorah and 9 candles) followed by food and fun, concert at 7:00. Only $5 per person/$18 per family. Tradition with a Twist is a seven-foot menorah by Yitzchok Moully, blending art and spirituality, debuting at the Boulder Menorah Lighting on December 15th, celebrating Jewish resilience.
According to Chany Scheiner, co-founder of the Boulder Center for Judaism, they chose Barbara Steinmetz for a number of reasons, but the most important is that, according to Chany, "she is always such a light against the darkness.”
