Fourth Boulder Socates Cafe Being Formed

A fourth Socrates Cafe is being formed to support the expanding interest in the present three Socrates Cafes now meeting in Boulder.

Socrates Cafes have local chapters world wide, and have a specific format for discussion groups that concentrate on the Socratic method of discussing philosophical questions. As there are no right or wrong answers to questions such as…”how do you know what you know” or ” is there a present”, Socratants can express their views without concern for opposition from other group members…this basic concept of exchanging ideas fosters an understanding and respect for the “other guy’s” opinions and the realization that there are generally two sides to every question.

Presently meetings are held at the Meadows Library Branch at 2:00 pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month, and at 2:00 pm at the West Boulder Senior Center on the fourth Friday of every month. For further information contact larrywinston11@yahoo.com or 720 269 4850.
