CU Recognized at AIPAC Policy Conference

This past weekend 13 CU students headed to Washington, D.C. to attend the AIPAC Policy Conference. Not only did they get to hear from a variety of speakers, including, but CU was also being recognized as one of four universities to receive the Advocates of the Year Award.

Co-President of Students for Israel club at CU, Joshua Siegal, said that receiving the award “is pretty sweet,” and that “the Israel-U.S. relationship is important to Jews, America and the world.”

Students for Israel on campus is focused on “educating the student body,” Siegel said, “we know about these issues, but students on our campus don’t. In the coming months, we need to sit down with students and explain the implications of the Iranian threat. This is an issue which affects everyone.”
