Camp Gan Israel of the Rockies got off to a great start this past week with close to fifty campers attending the camp’s first week session.
Leah Brackman, co-director of CGI Rockies was elated at the great turnout.
I think that the combination of a central location in Lafayette and the popularity the program has created over the years, has allowed for a better than expected registration.”
The past week’s trips included White Water Rafting, the Wild Animal Sanctuary, The Spot Gym and WOW.
Next week campers will enjoy trips to Elitches, Extreme Challenge, and Ice Skating as well as exciting in-camp activities.
Lisa Bultz, who just moved to the Boulder county area, was looking for a Jewish camp for her son and found CGI Rockies to be a great option.
Last week my 3-and-a-half-year-old son, Brady, was at an art camp and had a really rough time. He did not want me to leave him there alone. So far this week at Camp Gan Israel, Brady is having so much that I can’t get him to leave when I come and pick him up. I have been so happy with the camp that I have just registered him for the remainder of the summer sessions,” concludes Lisa.
Spaces are available for the remaining four weeks of camp and sessions can be booked on a weekly basis. A limited amount of scholarships are also still available.
CGI of the Rockies day camp is centrally located at Ryan Elementary School in Lafayette and is for children aged 3-13. The five week summer program runs from June 25 to July 27.
The camp’s unique blend of fun activities, exciting trips and innovative Jewish themes allow children of all backgrounds and affiliations to feel engaged and comfortable at CGI Rockies. For photos of our first week please click here.
