Blanket Drive this Weekend

Boulder Outreach for Homeless Overflow is once again sponsoring a huge blanket drive.

Gently used, washable blankets can be delivered to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church at 3700 Baseline Road between 1 and 4 pm on Sunday, February 26. This is the church just to the west of Congregation Har HaShem, so after you visit the health fair, it’s conveniently just a few steps away. This year, you can also donate quilts as well as blankets.

The collection will be in the main Atrium of the church. BOHO, working with 7 host congregations across faith denominations, has sheltered almost 10,000 guests in emergency warming centers on more than 110 nights since October 2011…and the cold weather continues. About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
