2nd Annual Exclusive Preview of First Bite Boulder

The Boulder Jewish Community Center and nine local restaurants have joined forces to offer the 2nd annual exclusive preview of First Bite Boulder as a fundraiser for the Boulder JCC’s Cornerstone Capital Campaign.

The Boulder JCC is in the final stages of a capital campaign to build a new campus for Jewish life on a 10-acre site at Arapahoe Ave. and Cherryvale Road. The BJCC has already raised $17.1 million of its $18 million goal, making it the largest Jewish capital project in Colorado history.  To reach this goal, The Sturm Family Foundation (with the participation of ANB Bank) has made an extraordinary challenge: If the Boulder JCC raises $500,000 by December 31, 2012, they will match that $500,000, dollar for dollar, to help us reach our goal!

On October 30th from 5:30 – 9:30 pm at the Boulder Theater, hundreds of people will eat, celebrate, and experience the excitement of the new JCC facility.

This event will celebrate the community’s success and provide an opportunity people to come together and donate to this once in a lifetime project.

Sambadende will provide an evening of entertainment as guests eat Boulder’s local fare. The restaurants participating and donating their food and services are 4580, Aji, H BurgerCO, Japango, Leaf, Pizzeria Da Lupo, T/ACO, and Tahona.  In addition Sweet Pea Catering is providing a kosher option and Spice of Life Catering will serve desert.

A limited number of spaces are still available. Join us for this Taste of What’s to Come for the Boulder JCC.  Tickets are only $25, and any additional donation is tax deductible.

Last year’s event was one of the single largest community fundraising events in Boulder in over a decade. Don’t miss out – register while space is still available!
