Shabbat Shalom!  This was a big week in New York- and Israel-related news, starting with Menorah’s successful New York, New York event; the opening of the UN General Assembly in New York finally arriving, bringing the issue of a Palestinian statehood resolution to a head; the Durban III Conference; roiling events Israel’s relations with Egypt and Turkey to name but a few.  To stay on top of things with one click, here is a link to JTA’s Middle East Page (which can be subscribed to via RSS).  Of course, you can also keep up with the latest ten stories from JTA with story links just by visiting the BJN home page.
