Wednesday
Chabad is holding its first-ever Jewish Bowling League at 8:30 p.m. at the UMC. Sign up online.
Thursday
Chabad has a Talmud class in the Center for Community on CU’s campus at 11:00 a.m.
In addition, Chabad holds its “Latte & Learning” class at Starbucks on University at 8:00 p.m.
Hillel is screening the documentary Forget Baghdad at 7:00 p.m. in the Atlas Building on CU’s campus. This is a 2002 documentary film about the Mizrahim, or Jewish community of Iraq. It explores issues of identity, language, history and the current Jewish-Arab tensions in the Middle East. The event is free.
Students for Israel is teaming with StandWithUs Denver and CU’s Chabad to bring speaker, Joel Mowbray, at 5:30 p.m. in the Center for Community. A Kosher dinner will be served in the dining hall. Please contact joshua.siegel@colorado.edu from Students for Israel to RSVP or for more information.
