This Week for CU’s Jewish Buffs

CU’s Jewish Buffs are mourning the end of spring break but are also gearing up for the rest of the semester.  Check out all the programs Jewish life has to offer students and local residents this week.

Tuesday

Don’t miss Hillel’s weekly BBQ at 6 p.m. Ayeka, Hillel’s spirituality class, follows the BBQ at 7:00p.m.

Wednesday

Chabad’s Women’s Learning class is at 12:00 p.m. in the Center for Community. Enjoy a free lunch.

Chabad is holding its first-ever Jewish Bowling League at 8:30 p.m. at the UMC. Sign up online.

Thursday

Chabad has a Talmud class in the Center for Community on CU’s campus at 11:00 a.m.

In addition, Chabad holds its “Latte & Learning” class at Starbucks on University at 8:00 p.m.

Hillel has its “Hebrew with Ayelet” class at 7:00 p.m, note new location at Hillel.

Friday

Chabad’s Shabbat services are at 7:00 p.m. The meal starts at 7:30 pm. Chabad is located at 775 17th Street.

Hillel’s Shabbat services are at 6:00 p.m. Dinner is at 7:00p.m. Hillel is located at 2795 Colorado Avenue.
