Scholarships for Boulder-area Jewish Educators

It’s time to apply for the Cathy Adler Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by the Boulder Jewish Festival.

Several years ago, the Boulder Jewish Festival began a scholarship fund in memory of Cathy Adler, one of the founders of the festival. This $250 fund was created to enable Boulder area Jewish educators to further their skills and knowledge. Typically these funds have been used to attend a conference or trainings.

Letters of application from Boulder-area Jewish educators are now being accepted for the Cathy Adler Memorial Scholarship Fund. All letters should be no more than one page and include applicant name, contact information, where they currently teach in the Jewish community, how long they have been teaching, population (age) they teach and name/contact information of their supervisor. Include a brief description about why you are applying for these funds and how the money would be used. Qualifications:

• Educators who are currently teaching in Boulder-area Jewish programs are eligible to apply.
• Scholarship funds can go to no more than 2 educators per year.
• Educators who have received this scholarship in the past are not eligible to receive it again.
